Female Bodybuilding Tips and Secrets
Majority of females stay away from bodybuilding because the fear that they will get too muscular and look unattractive, which can happen. Female bodybuilding does not differ all that much from male bodybuilding (culturism). Men and women have the same number of muscles that react and contract in the same manner to a physic workout. The main difference between the two sexes is that men have testosterone, a muscle-building hormone, while women have estrogen, a fat-storing hormone. This does not mean, however, that women are more likely to gain weight than men are.
Women who work out adequately can burn fat and develop more muscles.
Women might be interested in Bodybuilding for two main reasons:
1) Doing it for health.
2) Doing it to perform in competitions.
Women who are scared of getting to muscular looking, is that most women do not naturally produce the testosterone that is required to get the huge muscle look that men get.
So, by being a bodybuilder it is not necessarily guaranteed that you will get huge looking.
The advantages of female bodybuilding:

- increased self-confidence
- higher self-worth
Side effects of female bodybuilding:
- aching joints (water retention in joints).
- labial swelling/growth.
- voice cracking, dropping, raspyness, possible growth of adams apple.
- hair growth on bodyor face, increased rate of growth (daily shaving)
- hair loss on scalp
- sharpened jawline
